Sunena Gupta is a public policy researcher, mental health advocate, and Indian classical dancer. She is passionate about combining these multi-faceted aspects of her life to drive socio-economic impact in the fields of international policy and mental health education.

Sunena is most well-known as the director of the ‘Umeed: Colors of Hope’ dance theatre production and ongoing awareness campaign, which was launched in 2018 and has since delivered over 25 performances, workshops, and seminars across the globe.
An avid daydreamer and travel enthusiast, Sunena is of Indian ethnicity and was born and raised in Singapore. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied Political Economy and Public Policy.
